Arvay's Sugar Moon Lagoon is home!

Bindy is back home for awhile to mature before she heads back out to seek her AKC championship with our handler. We'll enter her in a couple shows to keep her training up while she's here. Lord help me...it's been over 3 years since I've shown. It's going to be fun OR funny...one of the two LOL!

She's as sweet as ever and my how she is growing up into a real beauty! You might remember her from her puppy video where she's pretending she's an Owl! She still does that too when you talk to her!

Lead training Pug puppies

We are training the puppies to walk on leads and little Tebbie is doing great. She doesn't like the skinny show lead you see in the first few frames of the video and does much better on the regular collar. But she'll get there.

First Time On the Table

Bindy has been practicing a bit stacking on the table. She was nervous her first time as you may be able to see in this picture, as she's down in her pasterns. For those that may not know what I'm talking about...pasterns are the ankle area on her front legs. See how what looks like her "wrists" bend on her front foot? They shouldn't sink like that. But it's to be expected for the first time on the table. Everything pretty much sinks LOL! Anyway, I was so proud of her. She didn't go flat-as-a-pancake as some puppies do their first time up on the table. I'll share another picture once she gains more confidence and you'll see a difference.
